Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains the terms for cancellations and refunds for services purchased from CodeClause through codeclause.com. Because we provide custom software development services, refunds are handled fairly based on the stage of work completed.

1. Cancellation by the Client

• Within 24 hours of payment and before work has commenced, you may cancel your order for a full refund, minus any payment gateway charges.
• After work has commenced, cancellation requests will be assessed based on the proportion of work already completed. Any refund will exclude the value of work delivered and non-recoverable third-party costs (e.g., domains, licences, hosting).
• Once a project is fully delivered and accepted, it is not eligible for a refund.

2. Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a refund if:

• We are unable to start or deliver the agreed service.
• A duplicate or erroneous payment was made.
• Both parties mutually agree to cancel the engagement before completion.

3. Non-Refundable Items

• Advance/booking fees where substantial work has already been performed.
• Third-party costs such as domain registration, paid plugins, licences, and hosting.
• Completed and delivered milestones that have been accepted by the client.
• Payment gateway transaction charges.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a cancellation or refund, email us at official@codeclause.com with your order/invoice number and the reason for your request. We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.

5. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. The time taken for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or card issuer.
